Orthogonal arrays are two-dimensional (2D) arrays of numbers where by selecting a pair combination of column and you get an even distribution of combination of values. An orthogonal array is an effective technique of test case generation that is based on the observation that most faults are caused by interactions of two or more input factors. Orthogonal array test suites cover all combinations of two or more and hence less set of test cases than test set of exhaustive ones.
