Seasoned Timber - short version

Traditionally used to describe are dried timber with a moisture content of less than 20%. Compared to green timber, dried timber has improved dimensional stability, toughness, bending stiffness, impact resistance, electrical resistance, resistance to decay and adhesive bond strength. The required level of moisture depends on the application.
