Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY) - short version

The final yield of a process after exposure to the cross-multiplied probabilities of failure along the chain of all process steps and activities.

Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY) - long version

Rolled throughput yield (RTY) and rolled throughput yield loss (RTYL) are methods used to calculate the probability of creating a defect-free unit during the multiple process manufacturing (typically used in Six Sigma). These methods are also used to calculate statistical control limits for measurement of procedural performance.
